SPONSOR A CHILD

At Starfish, we are a close-knit family of sorts, spending most of our time living under one roof.  As with any family, each member has his or her individual needs and story to tell. Many friends of Starfish have shared that all it takes is a picture and anecdote to develop a connection with one of our children.   

To suport our mission of caring for disabled children, we hope that you will consider a donation of $40 per month to "sponsor a child."  Your sponsorship covers the average daily needs of one baby, including minor medical expenses and a portion of his or her nutritional program.  It does not cover surgeries, nanny salaries or general overhead. As a sponsor, you join in partnership with the Starfish Foster Home in caring for these precious children. While we cannot send regular email updates about the particular child you sponsor, updates and photos are published regularly on Amanda's blog.

SPONSOR A NANNY

As mentioned in the Our Work page, each child is matched with a specific nanny to promote consistent care of his or her unique medical condition.  As a result, most children form a special bond with their particular nanny, finding comfort in the consistent, tender care they receive.

Please help us share our gratitude by sponsoring a nanny to support their daily work and ongoing importance.  Your sponsorship of $40 per month will help defray the costs of salaries, enabling us to fund more surgeries and bring additional children under our care.
